Unrot does not require an account. Completed sessions and unfinished Sudoku puzzles are stored in your browser's local storage.
Practice data
Game type, completion time, error count, difficulty or grid size, completion date, and the current state of an unfinished Sudoku puzzle are stored locally. Unrot cannot see or recover this data. Clearing browser storage removes it, and it does not automatically sync between devices.
Site analytics
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use Unrot through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay so we can improve the site. Microsoft may collect website usage data using cookies and other tracking technologies. Learn more in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Your controls
You can remove completed session history from the Progress page. Browser settings can remove all local Unrot data, including unfinished puzzles, and can restrict or clear cookies used for analytics.
